The dream of achieving financial success online is a powerful lure for many would be affiliate marketers. We've seen and heard enough to know that the opportunity is indeed very real. But what does it actually take to reach a any level of success
online?

Some people think they can spend their way to success. They set out buying every latest tool, seminar and training program offered hoping to get all the answers. Some think that because they like a product everyone will like it and want to buy it. Still others think that just putting a hot product on their website will bring them success.

With my own online effort I have come to realized that much of what I need to do in order to get good results was not very difficult at all, in fact most of the tasks are quite easy. The hard part was developing the discipline to be consistent in my efforts and the patience to allow enough time for reliable results to be determined.

Often I think the biggest obstacle a new marketer has to overcome is their own desire for instant gratification. The total blame for this does not fully rest with the individual, our society has help to foster this expectation. We've simply been conditioned to think that everything has to fast; from cooking to cars t browsing the internet. If it ain't fast, it ain't good.

Unfortunately for most of us It is likely that success won't happen over night but it can happen over time if we remain diligent, patient and focused. Even
with the best self help, personal development, motivational training and even the best money making system online won't be enough for us to succeed if we overlook this one key element.

The key ingredient missing from most people that fail at achieving their dreams is "Their WHY"!

It seems so elementary that it is extremely easy to overlook. Just think about it for a moment. Almost everything we do in life, we do because there is a
reason "Why" we should do it. Most people that wear eyeglasses do so because without them their vision is impaired. We eat because we get hungry. We put gas in our car because if we don't it will soon stop running. We do these things because not doing them can have consequences that we would much rather avoid.

The point is that all of these actions are motivated by a "Why". Without thereason "Why" there is really no need to do any of them. I had an old car that didn't run and I had no intention of ever getting it repaired. I never put anymore gas in it because I had no reason "Why" I should. It's very easy not to do thing when there is no 'Why".

What makes this such a key principal to your business success is that if you don't determine a strong "Why" you will easily be distracted from your goals and the persistence required to achieve them. If you are not convinced that this one simple element has a major effect on your success you will likely fail again.
